This is the step where you find a pair of corresponding edge and corner and insert it into the correct slot. Below is the set of Algorithms I use to solve the First 2 Layers One-Handed. Although some of these cases consists of only memorising algorithms, a vast majority of cases here can be done intuitively. Depending on whether you are a Lefty or not, your adaption of the F2L may differ from mine, since Lefties tend to use more R-face moves. Anyhow I would still recommend you to learn 2 sides (left slot or right slot) for each case, thus limiting your cube rotations. After learning these cases, try and think of ways to do these cases in more than 1-2 directions again to lower the cube rotations in this step. With some practice you will be able to do the F2L OH within 12-14 seconds One handed. Have Fun!
